Wales Valleys Walking Festival
5th September 2008 to 18th September 2008, South Wales Valleys A two week celebration with a wide selection of guided and non-guided walks for all abilities. Including family walks, nature walks, historical walks and disabled friendly. For more information visit the http://www.wisdomandwalks.co.uk site. Posted by Jane Lorimer September 28th Bridgend Event 28th September 2008, Bryngarw Country Park Venture Out Bridgend, Never Too Old Action Team, and NPHS with the support of Community first are holding another Medieval event. The activites taking place are: . Venture Out will organise the outdoor activities, . NTO will organise the indoor activities (promoting the right for older people to get information to increase their rights to information, and independance) . and NPHS are organising a sponsered walk. This event is going to be joint effort, and we are expecting 2 - 3000 people!
