Local Projects > South East: Rhondda Cynon Taf
Project Summary
The project will provide new opportunities and develop existing ones that will encourage people in the target groups doing little or no exercise to take part in outdoor activities in the local natural environment. Rhondda Cynon Taff is home to some outstanding natural resources with some cycle routes and footpaths that provide safe and easy routes for people to explore and travel around their local area. The project will raise awareness of these opportunities and enable people to use them in a way that suits their abilities and lifestyle. With secondary target groups of people with mental health issues and older people, the project will work with these groups to incorporate ideas for the way activities should be run and raise awareness of their needs with local service providers.
