Pembroke Dock Goes For It
27th June 2006
The Pembroke Dock project hits the ground running this month with the second of its ‘sign up’ events planned for Thursday 13th July.
Young people between the ages of 11 and 25 living in Pembroke Dock area are invited to sign up to the local Go4It project on the 13th July at the Bush Street Youth Centre. Local activity providers will be there to give young people a taste of what’s on offer. Following the sign-up events the first Go4It taster sessions will take place during August 2006 with a full programme of activities to follow later in the year.
Interim Project Manager, Saira Evans, is looking forward to the project getting underway; “the Go4It scheme will offer many opportunities for young people in this area to experience recreation activities in an outstanding natural environment right here on our doorsteps. I am looking forward to the appointment of the Project Coordinator who will take this exciting new project forward over the next four years. It is hoped the coordinator will be in post from August 2006”.
Further details about the Pembroke Dock project can be under the local projects heading.
